Marryat Fly Reels

Online

World Premier in Fly Fishing
Loss of fish due to the tippet breaking has now become a thing of the past. The revolutionary brake system of the Marryat Online fly reel allows the angler to instantly adjust the pre-set drag pressure by simply squeezing two pads on the reel handle while the fish is on the line, thus the name "online". Because the handle does not need to turn while line is taken out (anti-reverse feature) the angler can keep his hand on the handle and be in complete control of howmuch drag is being applied at any moment. With other reels, the drag must be pre-set. If it is pre-set too strongly, the first run of the fish could mean the breaking of the tippet. If the drag is pre-set too low, it will have to be increased while fighting the fish, whereas the CMR Online gives the angler the exact amount of drag wanted at all times without palming or reaching around the reel body to adjust the main drag. Included are a reel pouch and a CMR-Clip allowing the user to transform a standard Marryat reel into a model requiring less backing (large arbor feature).

the Marryat Online uses a unique adjustable drag system. The spool is free spinning and gives you the lowest "start-up inertia" possible. Increase drag force just by squeezing the two pads that are right on the crank handle while the fish is on the hook. No extra moves are required. This system also prevents the tippet from breaking
